Ruben Jaramillo, a person in New Mexico, is charged with child abuse. Police invaded his house and found out that his house was an underground lab which had manufactured anabolic steroids. According to New Mexico laws, an individual may be charged with child abuse, if he\she even only allows children to be there, where the chemical compounds or proper equipment utilized for production or keeping of these banned products are present.
When the Albuquerque Police Department’s Eastside Narcotics Team invaded the house, they found out that there was an underground lab in it. Police oficcers found some kilograms of raw powder for manufacture of steroids, such substances, as benzyl alcohol and sunflower oil, more than 150 vials of anabolic steroids. Several vials were labeled “Testosterone Cypionate”. Moreover, police reported that information related to prices, quantities and types of steroids had been recovered too. Chemical substances were in various rooms around the house, including the bedroom and the kitchen.
Ruben’s two daughters of 11 and 13 years old were at home, when police raided the house.
It is known that New Mexico is not the only state where the manufacture of anabolic steroids can be treated as child abuse. At least 10 other states have got similar laws. Such laws have certain basis.
Chemical substances may be toxic. They may have negative influence on children’s health. It is necessary also to keep in mind that there is a risk of fires and explosions of certain chemical substances. Parents that produce anabolic steroids at home do not take in consideration their children’s health. The children face great dangers in such cases. This is the first situation in Albuquerque, when manufacture of anabolic steroids is defined as child abuse by prosecutors.

Manufacturing of steroids and HGH by Treasure Coast Pharmacy

Treasure Coast Pharmacy was claimed to be one of the hugest producers of anabolic steroids. Of course, this Pharmacy had to distribute its medications; that’s why it couldn’t act separately from clinics, prescribers and clients. So, it is known that Treasure Coast Pharmacy was straightly connected with two health centres that were situated in the same location. A Sebastian clinic belongs to them. The owner of this clinic was Dr. Timothy Sigman.
It is known that three individuals had got key-roles in Treasure Coast Pharmacy. The owner was Peter Del Toro.
Jaclyn Rubino, the pharmacy worker, sold steroids, HGH and prescriptions to different clients over internet or telephone.
Richard Del Toro, the main director of Treasure Coast Pharmacy was directly related with the Sebastian clinic of Timothy Sigman. He participated in its management.
According to the investigators, the receptionists, the office manager and doctors were employed to sell different preparations, including HGH and anabolic steroids.
Lately Del Toro, the owner of Treasure Coast Pharmacy, Rubino, the employee of this Pharmacy, Sigman, the owner of a Sebastian health clinic and several certain persons were arrested by the DEA.
In addition to main leaders, more than 10 persons connected with Treasure Coast Pharmacy are suspected in selling of HGH, steroids and pain pills.
The owner of the Pharmacy is is charged in imports of steroids from China.
The state Department of Health decided to close the pharmacy. Peter Del Toro forfeited pharmacist license.
He could be sentenced to 20-year imprisonment.
It is believed that Treasure Coast Pharmacy manufactured great amounts of steroids and HGH. The owner of the Pharmacy filled more than 80% of the prescriptions. As it was found out, these medications were as well transported to some other places.
Treasure Coast Pharmacy was also connected with clinics owned by Forgione. Nowadays the owner is in a federal prison.
